Is age inevitable?

Something people ask me for on a regular basis is something that make them look younger and something to take their pimples away. Is it possiable to prevent looking older and not getting acne?

If this were true, people wouldn't spend 100's of dollars trying to fix this problem. No matter what, we are going to grow older and signs of age are going to appear, even with all of our exhausting efforts to find a miracle cream. This is the deal... I've been in skin care for over 10 years, and I've sold countless line reducing creams and age defying lotions, and I use some of them myself. Do they work? Yes and No. Yes in the sence that they give you the "Appearance" of younger looking skin and less lines and wrinkles, because of some of the chemicals used to plump out the skin and make it look fuller, and firmer. It's never a lasting effect or perminant, and you must continue to use it to maintane that youthful appearance.

The amount of lines and wrinkles you get as you get older is determined by two differant things 1... GENETICS and 2....your life history.

You'll notice some people at the age of the 30 years old, look like their 30, 40 and even almost 50. Look at their family, they age the same way. No amount of line or wrinkle corrector is going to change that. Then you have some lucky folks, that when they are 50 look like they are in their late 20's. Case in point, Myself, my mom and my grandmothers. When my grandmother was 55 she looked easily like she was in her 30's, my mom is almost 50 and she looks like she is in her late 20's. I am almost 30 and I pass off for 18-22 all the time. People have always asked us, what cream are you using? What do you do to look so young? Well, most of it, honestly is genetics. We naturally look younger than we are, but I come from a line of women who believe whole heartedly in a healthy diet, lots of water, healthy natural foods, exercise, minimal sun exposure and moisturizing your skin every day!

Your skin will only look as good as you treat it. No matter what we do, or what expenses we go through to find the miracle cream, it doesn't exsist. There are wonderful products available that help, but its mostly for our own self esteem to make us feel younger and better about our selves.

It's scientifically proven, that if you drink your daily allowance of water and eat a healthy diet consisiting of fruints, veggies and protein, less fats, less sugar, less junk food in general, your skin will be clearer, more supple etc. Washing your make up off every night helps keep it clearer. Washing your face in the morning helps keep it clearer, moisturizing helps retain moisture, and using an SPF 15 skin moisturizer or higher helps keep the suns harmful rays away. Everything you do that is healthy for your body is healthy for your skin and will make it appear cleaner, fresher, brighter, softer, smoother, and even help you appear a little younger.... but don't be fooled, age is inevitable. We are all going to age, and our skin will show it. it's part of life.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get those products that help you look younger. Alot of them have the spf 15 you need for sunblock and it's formulated to be gentle enough for your face. Remember your facial skin is alot more sensative that the rest of your body, so you need something gentle. Bar soap, even my natural handmade soaps are not ment for your skin unless it's the texture of boot leather. lol

For my face, I use my foaming Sugar Scrub Bath Frosting. It's ph balanced at 5, where as body soap is ph balanced at 7 to 11. 5 is the elequilivant of water, and it's very gentle to the skin, yet cleansing. If you're looking for a natural cleanser that doesn't have all of the chemicals in it, then look to the sugar scrub listed in the body butters section of Soaps 'N Suds online store. It's natural with cocoa butter, shea butter, jojoba oil, and sugar cane. We love it and it leaves your skin soft, clean and moisturized.

Do I offer a wrinkle treatment? Well, considering I make natural and organic skin care and there hasn't been an herb proven to reduce wrinkles, all I can tell you is no I don't have a wrinkle cream yet. I recommend using a healthy diet regimen, washing twice daily, and moisturizing twice daily, reduce your skins exposure to excess sunlight, and age gracefully. ;)
